Registration - League Age Program Guidelines

Determine 2009 league age for: Baseball and T-Ball or Softball 

  

To be eligible to play, your child must be of the proper League Age and must live within the official Issaquah Little League boundaries.   The League Age requirement will be determined based on your child's age as of April 30th for baseball and Dec 31st of the previous year for softball of the Spring season that you are registering for.  See FAQ for more detailed explanations.

    1. AGE (League Age) refers to the child's age as of April 30th for Baseball and Dec 31st for Softball of the Spring season registering for.
    2. 5-year olds: space-available basis only.
    3. 6-year olds can only play up with 7-year olds if they have previously played T-ball or a similar instructional league (a safety issue).
    4. 10-year olds with limited baseball experience may be placed in this division based on results of Skills Evaluations.
    5. 9-year olds whose parents have petitioned the Executive Player Agent and been accepted as candidates for Coast League Baseball will be allowed to participate in player skill evaluations and based on results of Skills Evaluations may be allowed to play in Coast. 
    6. 10-year olds whose parents have petitioned the Executive Player Agent and have been accepted as candidates for Major League Baseball or Softball may be allowed to participate in player skill evaluations and based on results of Skills Evaluations may be allowed to play in Majors.
    7. 11-year olds with limited baseball experience may be placed in the Coast division based on results of Skills Evaluations.
    8. The Home School Attendance Areas for the Issaquah elementary schools are defined as follows:
      • Sunset
      • Maple Hills
      • Issaquah Valley
      • Cougar Ridge
      • Apollo (Limited Residential Area)
      • Grand Ridge (Limited Residential Area) 
      • Clark (Based on "Default" Home School)
    9. Fee - Maximum fee per family not to exceed $250.00.

SPECIAL REQUESTS for desired teammates and/or managers may be made (below Coast levels only) but are not necessarily granted.

TEAM FORMATION ANNOUNCEMENTS will be made in March.
